Latin America has many wonderful sights to see. There’s the ever so popular Machu Picchu in Peru, the ruins of Tikal in Guatemala, and the soft water of Iguazu Falls in the borders of Brazil, Argentina, and Paraguay just to name a few. The abundance of picturesque scenery, beautiful tropical landscapes and adventurous activities that can be had in the region make it an ideal dating destination.
However, the question is what kind of date would you and your Latina woman prefer? Are you the more adventurous type? Or would you prefer to just chill out with your date? Would you prefer the laid back atmosphere of the countryside or the towering skyscrapers of the city? Here are some date ideas you can do in Latin America:
If you and your date are adrenaline junkies, then you’d probably find Latin America a haven. This region is rich in beautiful beaches that are perfect for activities like swimming, snorkeling and diving. Not to mention the other water sports activities like white water rafting in Panama, sea kayaking in Mexico, paddle-boarding in Honduras, or surfing in El Salvador.
But if you are the outdoorsy kind of people who love to be one with nature, you can always trek to the mountain trails or camp out in the lush rainforests of many Latin American countries. You can go volcano hiking in Costa Rica or Ecuador, go mountain biking in Guatemala, or explore the ruins in Peru. There is always something to do with the wonders of nature in the region.
If you prefer a less strenuous date, then maybe the countryside is the place to be. Go birdwatching in Suriname, wildlife watching in El Salvador, or explore the salt flats in Bolivia.
You can still take in the picturesque view but without making that much effort. There’s plenty of laid back activities to try in the countryside of Latin America, which are perfect for a weekend getaway when dating a Latina.
If the outskirts aren’t your cup of tea, there are still plenty of cities and bustling metropolises to see. You can go bar hopping in Manora, Peru, dance the night away in Medellin, Colombia, taste one of a kind cocktails and spirits in Montanita, Ecuador, listen to live music in Buenos Aires, Argentina, or learn the Samba in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
You can also try some authentic Latin cuisine, visit museums and galleries, or simply stroll the parks on a moonlit night. The cities of Latin America have plenty of sights to enjoy.
South America was the birthplace of the Mayan and Incan Empires. While they no longer exist, you can still find traces of these great civilizations today.
For example, Peru celebrates the Inti Raymi festival, which commemorates the Inca sun god Inti. You can also visit the ruins of these great empires in Colombia and Peru.
Another way to immerse yourself in their culture is to join the festivals, like Dia de los Muertos (in Mexico), Semana Santa (in Colombia), and Carnaval (in Brazil). Perhaps doing so can make you understand Latin women better.
Whatever your idea of the perfect date is, this region will surely have something somewhere that will tickle your fancy. But rather than dwelling too much on where you are going to take your date to, make sure that your date actually serves its purpose instead. What’s the use of an amazing date venue if you don’t use that opportunity to get to know each other better?
